One lonely planet drifting lazily about a star at 67,000 mph which in turn carries us around the center of the galaxy at 490,000 mph. As unlikely as it sounds for our little spec of a world to be the only one that teams with life, that may very well be the case. If out of the hundreds of billions of stars with ten times as many planets, we could be the first to reach.
We could be the embryo from which the rest of the Universe blossoms. But, in order for that to take place, we have got to get our priorities in order. We need to all take care of one another to the best of our abilities because, if we can’t make it here, we’ll never make it out there. If that were to happen that would most certainly be a shame.
